Zema Ion has dreamed to become a professional wrestler from a very young age and was influenced by the great high flyers of his youth, which is where he derives his fast paced, take no prisoners, leave nothing at home style. Ion started working towards his goal at the age of 17 and has not looked back since. He has traveled all over the world to bring his talents to fans everywhere and doing so all while also attending college at West Virginia University. IMPACT WRESTLING took notice and brought him in to try out for a spot in the X division. The match was brutal and Ion stole the show with some of the most insane things anyone could see in a wrestling match. Ion’s effort paid off as he won that match and continued on to “Destination X” where he was in the ring with three others competing for a top spot in the X division. IMPACT WRESTLING recognized the talents of this up and comer of the industry and could not overlook the way the crowd stood behind this young talent.
