Mozaic was started from the result of JMU dancers who were denied membership to a JMU dance team because of reasons not based off their dancing abilities in 2003.

MOZAIC DANCE TEAM was founded in 2003 by four dancers who wanted to bring cultural diversity through dance at James Madison University.Today, Mozaic Dance Team is a competitive dance team that provides the opportunity to both men and women from all cultural backgrounds to perform in a team atmosphere. Mozaic Dance Team continues to keep the hip hop culture alive through music and dance, providing a gateway to the hip hop dance and culture. |
